Performing with Chris Werner on the full premiere of Beck Rose’s work for Bassoon and Percussion at Subspace Art Gallery in Tucson, AZ.

I will be joining my friend and collaborator Chris Werner on his DMA Lecture Recital playing excerpts of a newly commissioned work for bassoon and percussion by composer Beck Rose!

Join me for my last Large Ensemble concert at the University of Arizona where I will be playing with the University of Arizona Wind Symphony. I will be playing a large variety of classic band pieces and on a variety of percussion instruments.

I will be performing Djembe 3 with fellow 2nd year DMA student Nathan Smith in Iannis Xenakis’s Djembe Trio “Ohko”

I will be performing Ivan Trevino’s “Songbook 3” with the University of Arizona Woodwind Quintet. I will be playing Cajon in Mvt. 1 “Byrne”, Marimba in Movements 2 and 4 “Thom” and “Jónsi” and Vibraphone in Mvt. 3 “St. Annie”. This performance is part of the larger chamber music concert featuring the woodwind quintet, as well as the University of Arizona Brass Trio.

The University of Arizona Percussion Ensemble will be performing works composed by and made famous by Bob Becker! I will be performing on “Unseen Child”, “Away Without Leave” and Xylophone soloist on “Jovial Jasper”. I will also be playing Marimba 1 parts on “Log Cabin Blues”, “Ragtime Robin”, “Chromatic Foxtrot”, “The Whistler”, “Xylophonia”, and Marimba 3 on “States Medley”.

I’m extremely excited to announce that my piece “Opus 4. No. 1” based of of the works of Arnold Schoenberg and dedicated to my dear friend and colleague George Rosas will be premiered at the TURN UP Festival at the University of Arizona! This work is for Soprano Saxophone and Piano with Rosas performing on Soprano Saxophone and myself on Piano.

Join me for my Solo Recital for my Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Arizona! Program includes works from Applebaum, Cangelosi, Mantovani, Pinckert, and Xenakis!

I will be performing as principal percussionist for the University of Arizona Wind Symphony playing works from Bernstein, Gillingham and more!
